Becky, Becca, Becksi, Becks, Beckle Speckle, Becky Boo, Boo Boo, Becky Booka, Granny Speckles - so many names and she came to them all!! Becky was many "firsts" for me - my first bitch, first BMPIS/BPIS awards, BOB, BVIS and latterly 2 x Best Vintage in Show, first Stud Book Number and our first mother - but most of all a first class loyal girl with the most lovely character that I adored. Becky has left a huge gap here at Knockothie - a gap which is going to be very difficult to ever fill. Taken from us very suddenly with little time to say goodbye.

Becky is our foundation bitch, and a real character she is too! She was a fantastic mother to her two litters passing on her truly wonderful temperament to her puppies. Becky loves everybody and most of all loves her weekend outings to the shows, we have no intentions of retiring her from the ring just yet, as she would be most upset being left behind! She is a pleasure to own and the easiest dog to show, probably because she is the greediest and will do anything for food!! She has always done very well in the ring starting out with many Best Puppy in Show awards to latterly gaining Best Veteran and Vintage in Show awards – she has never let me down! Becky has recently undergone an operation for a cruciate ligament injury – however we are following a strict convalescent programme and she is now out for walks again – but not off the lead yet as she’d be at Tammy’s heels in the bunny hunting!
